i need to know what the gap on the points are for the cockshutt 40 thanks

The gap is set at .020 for the Cockshutt 40 (as well as the 20, 30 & 50). It was factory equipped w/ J11 Champion plugs set @ .025. Hope that helps.

Terry, the gas version of the Cockshutt 40 had a Buda 230 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine. The same engine (block) was also used in their diesel version. I've always thought that the Cockshutts from that era were some of the nicest styled tractors of all time, mind you as the owner of a model 30 I am slightly biased. See ya !!!
