I have acquired a Springfield 36 tractor ( small thing) and have tracked it down to Toro. They have the ability to talk to me maybe, if I can find the model number. Any thoughts? I've looked everywhere they mentioned but can't find a plate or anywhere that looks stamped. They won't go with the 36 that was on the hood.

Lewis,
I have seen your posting, and have a Springfield 36 also. Under the seat, there should be a small aluminum plate bolted to the frame. Look under the seat from the rear of the machine, if it is there, you will see it.

I recently purchased a Springfield 36 tractor. All the information on the I.D. plate is as follows: The House of Power Quick Dig Inc. Springfield, OH Model 64TE-6 Serial# a21791 If anyone has information on what I have, please e-mail me at the above address. I would like to know what year it is. Also would like to know where I may find parts for it. It does not need a whole lot. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Gentlemen,
I also have a springfield tractor. The carb you are in need of is a two piece Flojet medium size.
I found mine in Maryland for under 100 dollars.
My tractor is model 63TE-6 serial 22016 by the Quick mfg. co. Iwould like to trade if anyone is interested.
