I like European Tractors. Anyone else with the same fever? If so, lets start a communication back and forth. I have two Field Marshalls series two and a Fowler crawler thats the same as a Field marshall except that it has tracks. I also have a German Lanz Bulldog 45 HP and will be picking up another one next week.

I also have a 1954 German Fendt and have a 1957 Lanz Aulendorf bought in Germany that I will get next spring.

If you know of anyone who has these same interests, please give them my name and email address. I live in northwest Florida.

Many thanks for any help along this line.

Hello Sonny; We're from Canada, and have a couple of bulldogs. A 2816 and a 6016. we also looked at the tractor at nickels. It was rough ,but had potential. If you got all the books with it,we sure would like to get a copy of the service manual . If you could help us out,we would appreciate it. Mr Nickel wouldn't

Im starting a registry for CAST tractors, made in Italy. They are 4wd, 4ws, 4w independent suspension with springs and shocks on each wheel, and can be driven with equal ease facing the engine or facing the hitch. Contact me if you are interested in the registry.

have same ailment, have JD's, Cockshutts, and started in Lanz. Now have a 15/30 Bulldog, 1616 (1954?), and a Vierzon 45 (1949). It is a rear exhaust road builder model. Am working on getting a Canadian 3 FM, haven't located one as of yet I'd buy.

If you want good info on various Lanz styles and a number of other european tractors and history, Ian Johnston an author from Austrailia has some good books on the topic. Great guy to talk to and write.

Maybe I can see your stuff at the florida flywheeler show this winter.

Locally we have a Lanz collector, has about 12 of them, also a URSO from poland, and some FM's. He really knows his stuff, was factory trained in early 60's. He is working on my 1616. To date he is the most informed collector I've met.

I know one thing so far, these are more expensive than JD A tractors!

I>Link think the lanz and field marshall are unique, hope this helps.

Wow, that's some pretty obscure tractors! And I thought the cockshutts I collect were obscure! Do you have any pictures - I'd love to see what these rare tractors look like!
