I've got a tractor encyclopedia here that has a few Intercontinentals in it. They were made in Garland Texas. The model C26 is a 3000 pound tractor with a 4 cylinder Continental flathead engine of 162 cubic inches. It was made from '49-'56. It had 38" rear rubber and the grille appears to be mesh. The model DE and DF looked similar but the sheet metal was slightly different. They had Buda engines, the DE had 153 cubes (same as the Cockshutt 30) and the DF had 182 cubic inches. It had a pressed steel bar-style grille. These were made from '51-56, also from Garland, Texas. Also is a model 'Cultrac', sort of a tracked version of the tractor, only weighed 1750 pounds with a tiny Waukeshau engine of 61 cubic inches. This little tractor has the strangest track covers over the tracks that I've ever seen. It was only made in '51 and '52. Interesting, never seen one either.

Looking for any books, links, or any information on Intercontinental DE & DF tractors. Where were they exported to?
