I have a Nuffield 3/45 that leaks down overnight and has to have the air bled from the lines to start the next day. I've replaced the line from the fuel pump to fuel filters, and filters to injectors. I don't see any places wet with fuel anywhere. What do I look for now? Also, is there a place to bleed the fuel lines without running the engine and loosening the fittings on the injection?

Have you tried priming the injector pump with the manual lever on the lift pump? I find that I have to pump the lift pump pressure up manually for the engine to start consistently. If I don't the engine will start and run for only 20 seconds or-so and then quit. If I then just crank it over I have to crank for 30 seconds before it will fire again. If I pump up the lift pump it always starts with minimal cranking. Gee maybe there is something wrong with my 3/45 too. I am not sure if this is normal for these tractors.

There should be air bleeds on the ijector pump and top of filter. It sounds like you need to check all the way back to the tank. The fuel must flow freely out of the tank to the primary pump.I don't have your model but have worked on others.Air can be let in at any conection.A friend had one that plugged at the bottem of the tank often. The primary pump has a screen that can be cleaned.the injector pump has suction that will suck in air if there is any restriction.
