I have an old mower that sounds quite like yours. I know it is a worthington or Jacobsen which bought out worthington. Mine has a Ford industrial engine, dual wheels in the front and single steering wheels in back. Mine has that little box behind the seat. Mine has 5 reel type mowers on it. It mows a swath of 11 feet. It has a 4 speed forward transmission and 1 reverse. The mowers all raise hydraulically. This has a paint job that some one done with a brush and latex paint. But it runs ok and you can get parts for the mowers quite easily. I have no idea what year it is.Keep coming back with some info and maybe we all can learn something about our machines

I have a Worthington model G tractor. It is a 1951 model with a ford 8n engine and sheet metal.I thank the model that you have was made shorty after that if it has a overhead engine. They were made in Pa and were sold out to Jacboson co in the late 50s.The frist Worthingtons used model A car compontents with a gear reduction, and later used dodge compontents.I do have an owners manual for mine and it is the only one that I have seen for a Worthington.Sorry that I can't be of more help to you on your model. Gene
