G'day from Australia, Does anyone know of a group or club that is particularly interested in howard rotavators and that is on the net? I have a Gem which is in regular use. Date of manufacture - late 1960's we think. Also am working on Howard Junior. thanks, David

I have formed a Howard Register. If you look in the issue April/May and the forthcoming August issue, you will see the register listed.

Hi, Albert from the Uk: ( Hull Yorkshire )
I have just started to do up an Howard ( 200 ) this machine was bought as an spare machine at an Local Auction, Price £1,= $2.81 with loads of spare wheels (30) it is in good working order very clean, but the engine works but I cannot get it to tick over,I suspect that the link gov is kapput, never mine I obtained a very good updated 200, complete with carb comp / Petrol tank all parts there, stacks of compression without the plug in place: ( 3 Rotavators Kabuta Tiller = Honda = The Howard will work on my Allotments
It has taken a lot of hard work drilling, filing ect almost 3 months hard work, the only thing left is to start it (good spark) plug end:
Fingers crossed, can get plenty of spare parts for villiers, howards ect, to far England to post Kind regards to one and all Albert

I keep a very substantial quantity of tractor mounted and horticultural Howard Rotavator spares and also literature. I buy, make and break. If you have a problem, give me a ring. You will get straight to me on (44) 07836 210363. My address is Heath Close, Old Heathfield, East Sussex, TN21 9BN, England, and my website is www.tillerparts.com. If you are filling a container I would like a watercooled twin Junior please.
