LeRoi-Centaur

I have a 50 vintage LeRoi. The prior owner told me it was used to cut grass on the New York State Thruway in 50-s. I wanted ignition parts. It took time but I have part numbers. The destributor is a Prestolite- 1GW-4044a 3j The cap is STH AL65 Points are Borg Warner BWD A70 The Condenser is Borg Warner G127 The Rotor is BWD D18 I hope this saves others some time and trouble

I've been searching for some info on a LeRoi that belonged to my father-in-law. I,m not sure of the year or where I can get a service manual. Please let me know how your website is progressing. Thanks

I have a Le-Roi engine that was adapted to be used as a staionary power unit for water well drilling machine. The man that converted it said it came from a army surplus sale.
