Could anyone give me some information on an Earthmaster tractor, model "CH" serial #385, how much would it be worth, how many were made, where were these tractors produced? Tractor is in relatively good condition, runs well. Thanks.

Darren, your tractor is the high crop model which differs from the regular "C" in that it has 4" of additional ground clearance (due to taller spindles and larger rear wheels). 385 is a relatively low number and is generally considered a 1948 model. This tractor was most likely produced at the Hollydale, California plant.

Most estimates put California production at around 5000 in 1948-49, then in the mid to late 50's approximately 100 more were produced in North Carolina.

Visit the Earthmaster club at: yahoo.com and post your question there for more insights.

I can't answer your questions but, Neil Reitmyer might be able to help you. He has an Earthmaster and a page of info about Earthmaster tractors on his website. Here's a link to his site.
