Strange Tractor need info: This tractor with STAUB on the hood. Has SLNZI SN#103231, Novellara and DVA 920 on a data plate attched to the engine. Tractor was purchased used in France, owner believes it was made in Itly using a German 2 cylinder diesel. It is a 4WD, articulating steering with a PTO and three point. Weighs approx 1500lbs, appears to be all aliminum cast except engine. Hood is attached to lower front and swings up, over and down to allow complete access to engine. currently painted rust red, with blue showing beneath the red. Tractor is deadlined with clutch problems. Any info. will be appreciated.

Thank's Les in SC.

Les,

I can't help you identify the tractor, but might be able to give you a suggestion on how to get the clutch rebuilt. Most cities have a shop or two that rebuild clutches, and brakes. Here in Tulsa, I can think of 3 sutch shops off the top of my head. They can rebuild the Pressure plate, reline the clutch disc, and they can probably match up the throw-out bearing. They can also re-surface the flywheel.

Thanks, Jim Brown

Jim: Thank you for the wake up. I don't know why I diden't think of that. I used to use a company in Houston TX that did clutches and brakes. I feel sure that somewhere in SC someone does rebuild.
Thanks again
