I have a Jaques Mighty Mite, that has a Wisconsin Engine on it that has been totally rebuilt, and it's the hardest starting tractor I've ever come across. Has anyone ever put a starter on one?..there is plenty of room for it I think up front but I didn't know if it could be done...Thanks!...

I am in process of restoring one . I have just finished the engine . Mine starts first pull with no choke & no throttle . Is it a zz ? Do you have any information on these tractors ? I only have very little . Any help would be a great help . Russell.

Russell...good to talk to someone else w/one of these...I'm afraid I don't have any info on them..only what I read in Antique Power Magazine a few years back. They had a good article. I know they were built in Denison Texas because 2 out of the 3 original implements I have had the decals on that said so. Wish mine started like yours...I'm 6 ft. 230 lbs and I put everything I've got just to try to get it going. Tryed it today and right now it won't even try to go..gotta figure out what's going on so I use it more....It does have a Briggs ZZ on it...

Hello Mark ! Check the points & condesor They are still available . I just put new ones in mine . I set the points at 12 thous.Make sure the mag doesnt have any rust on it if it does clean it with emory paper .You should have a nice blue spark . Try half choke with very little throttle I do that when it gets a little cold out . Check the float level also . Good luck . If I think of any thing else I will let you know . Let me know if this helps you out at all!!!!! Russell !
