Can anyone help me please?? I am looking for the paint code # for Harvester Cream. We are restoring a Deering Reaper, and I am totally lost with all the cross paint code numbers. I have found in the archives that it was PC# 290-C than went to PC# 290-D but can not find the cross match # for current. I also need to know where to purchase it. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.....

Hi Sharron,

The best I can do is from a DuPont listing as shown below:

IHC TITAN 10-2 WHEELS, SPOKES, RIMS INSIDE OF FENDERS, IHC RED, (LOOK AT COLOR) REMAINDER OF TRACTOR DUPONT 98626 D, GRAY, IHC 8021. IHC CREAM COLOR (FOR BINDERS, MACHINERY, ETC), DUPONT 43938 +, ( THIS COLOR IS VERY DIFFICULT TO MATCH SINCE IT VARIES FROM YEAR TO YEAR).
GRAY 98626 D
CREAM 43938

I have no idea how accurate this is and I don't have any experience with Harvester colors. It is a color number for paint in the DuPont automotive line up and is available in several different chemistries (and prices). Note the statement on match difficulty. If you want to pursue this number further, check out a local DuPont automotive paint supplier. Other suppliers probably will have a cross reference from the DuPont 43938 to their own color formula. Whatever way you decide to proceed, I suggest you purchase the smallest quantity possible as a check on the color to see if it meets expectations before spending a lot only to be dissatisfied later.

Another option is possibly a Case/IH dealer if you have not already been down that path.
