Hey,
I was reading somewhere else on this site that a guy removes rust off the whole tractor using electolysis and a pressure washer. Does anyone know how this can be done? Thanks. Paul

You put washing soda (Arm and Hammer) in the water. Check out Frank's site. He's the expert.

The battery charger removes the rust.Lye is used in the water as a conducter, hooking the ground side to the part to be derusted and the positive side to a scrap piece of metal transfers the rust to the scrap metal. The two pieces cannot touch in the water. The lye also helps remove the paint.
If the piece you are derusting is very large you will have to turn the battery charger down to 6 volts.

Frank Boeger's website has info on electrolysis and also on lye gravy. Try www.fboerger.com
