Hi Lavaughn,

For pre-1960 AC you want the early, "pumpkin shade" of persian orange if you want to stick with original colors. In PPG the number is 60080. The closest that I am aware of in DuPont is YS074. You'll also need to select the quality line and the desired chemistry (e.g. acrylic enamel, acrylic urethane, basecoat, etc.). For example, in PPG's OMNI line of "economy" automotive paints, the single stage acrylic urethane is called MTK60080, the single stage acrylic enamel is called MAE60080 and the basecoat for a bc/cc system is called MBC60080. In PPG's premium line, the single stage acrylic urethane is called DCC60080.
