Has anyone used the Martin Senour paint that is available at NAPA? They are proposing a urethane enamel. I'm doing a MM UTS, and they have a Prairie Gold that looks pretty good color wise. If you have, I'd like your opionion on that paint. Seems reasonably priced and correct color.

I work at a NAPA store. I assume you are probably talking about the Crossfire line of paint. I have been using it for about 4 yrs now and am pretty happy with it. I have used both the acrylic enamel and the urethene. The urethene seems to be a little more durable and easier to buff if needed. Make sure you get the right temp reducer becuase crossfire is very sensative to temp.

Hi Gary,

I've never used MS products so I can't say anything about them specifically. I do know they have different lines of automotive products (economy and premium at least) just like PPG and DuPont. You can get the product data and safety info sheets here for the exact products that you are considering using. It would be the unusual NAPA store that would offer those to you - if they even had them at all.

I used a little bit when I was searching for good color code for my allis g. I'd say it's good paint, as good as any of the other major auto paint supplies. I did find that PPG's omni urethan was cheaper in price.
