I've spent a butt ton of money putting this together. I really can't afford to spend money on painting equipment, sand blasting, etc. What about a sander for removing paint? I will have the hard to sand parts blasted but sanding the larger parts, like the gas tank, clutch housing, etc. How would it turn out if I did that? I could just wait until next winter and completely disamntle it and paint the whole thing then too, but I'd like to make look purdy. Thoguhts?

I'm not sure I understand your question, but read my response to Lane R below concerning the procedures for cast and sheet metal. You really should do everything at once, rather than part now and part later, if that is what you are asking.
