Gentlemen.

I am in the process of taking apart the 51 MT for the painter. I have seen tractors done both ways, but wanted to know what is considered the proper protocol. Do you paint these items or leave them black?

*fan
*generator
*starter
*coil
* radiator pipe between the two lower hoses
*taping-up the distributor and leaving black
*pulling good s-plugs and putting old ones in that it they get painted, not problem...
*pulling the muffler, exhaust and water manifolds[is there a good black paint that really works and holds for a long time; meaning it doesn't start to crack and peel later on]
*any other advice?

I am pulling the wiring, gas tank [for painting] , the radiator to have it overhauled and then painted black

Finally, is there a site that describes or details where to exactly place all the decals?

Thank you very much,
tstex
