I need to trim a reproduction grill for my Farmall Super A. It is very close to the original, however the curve at the steering box isn't quite right and the bottom of the grill will not pull in enough with hitting the steering box. Unfortunately I did not discover this until AFTER I had painted it. I did a test fit but I thought my old hood with the problem but it turns out to be the grill. What is the best way to trim off the excess for the edge of the grill. It is maybe 1/4" at the most. I don't really want to grind and mess up my paint too bad. I know I'll have to touch it up a little but any ideas?

High speed die-grinder with thin cut-off wheel and rotary file. Use tape for your go-to line so paint don't flake back from edge.Touch up bare edge.Use patience!!
