I have become a believer in a fresh air system for painting. I recently purchased a hobby air fresh air hood. I only bought the hood because I already have a used fresh air pump that I bought years ago at a flea market for $35. Oil-less compressors/fresh air pumps are quite expensive new. Mine is a Stewart Warner brand, the same as the SAS fresh air systems use. I do recommend looking into the Hobby air system of even the sas system for those painting at home. It protects you from breathing the VOCs, and the hood has the added benefit of keeping you cool.

I used my fresh air system more this weekend. Now I"m hooked. I love it much better and feel much safer than with just a respirator in the booth!

Good advise. Everyone should, but everyone won't. There are still "IDIOTS" that refuse to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle 55mph at night past a forest full of deer. Something about testosterone I guess? Now you have no excuse for not using the "GOOD" paints!
