Jason, If you poke around the Martin Senour (NAPA) website you'll find five different formula numbers for allis chalmers persian orange (10775, 12016, 3967, 3723 & 65403). To my knowledge there were only two used by AC, the early version, sometimes called #1 and the later version, sometimes called #2. They also have a competitor cross reference listing on their site. The PPG60080 does not cross to any of the five. The later version (60396 in PPG) shows no cross at all. Go Figure. When I was investigating that shade, I viewed color chips for 3 of the numbers at NAPA and they all appeared the same. I basically gave up on NAPA (MS) at that point. I found conflicting info from DuPont so decided to go with PPG since there were only 2 possibilities listed. I bought a quart each of the two numbers to satisfy myself as to which was which. From what I have seen between DuPont, PPG and MS relative to old tractor colors I am led to believe that PPG has the best handle on it, at least as far as AC goes. I guess if someone needs an MS number for that early persian orange, they may have to sample all five - or risk trusting someone else on what is the best choice. Rod
