I want to apply two coats of PPG MP 170 epoxy primer. How long should I wait between coats? The entire 30 minute dry time?

Spec sheet says 15 min dry time for 1 coat, 30 min for 2 coats. That is before applying another product. But, the flash time is 5-10 minutes, depending on temperature. When I have a number of parts to paint, I paint them all, and sometimes immediately go back to the first one. Can be as little as 5, seldom more than 10.

Thanks for the info. I suspected as much, but wanted to double check. The only information I have is the pdf file from PPG is there another spec sheet?

Not that I know of. The spec sheet has been modified in the last year or so. Originally it said one coat, so no flash time was given. Now it says you can use two if you want to (most of us did anyway), but still does not mention the time between coats.
