Rod,CNKS,and others. Just a note to let you know,I won't be around the forum for a little while. (ha, I hear you cheering already). Getting a long overdue joint repl. tomorrow.(Sept 11)Hope the lights don't go out half way through! I'll be in there 4 days and then the long journey back through phys' therapy at home. Depending on the pain, should be back in a week or so. (thank God for hand clutches, the ole JD may be the only thing I can drive for a while). Back in a while,"B".

In the last four years I have had both knees and boh shoul;ders replaced. The first (right) knee never quite got back to good so I changed doctors and the other three joints are great. The shoulders exceeded everyones expectations except for me and the Dr. I think the Dr. and his methods are the right thing. My dr. does not cut the muscles, he moves them aside. a little harder on him but musch easier on the patient. Last knee last year an I was up and going in 10 days. He told me he was embarressed because I walked into the office with a walker. Would notlet me leave with it.

Good Luck.. I had my right knee replaced six years ago, Was back milking in three weeks, A year ago the knee cap broke. Back to the table. in two weeks the muscles ruptured. Was six week before I could move it. It never did rehabilitate right. My family talked me into having my left knee repalced in April. got out of hospital in five days. Collapased and spent a week back with three days in ICU. I have been to all kind of tharapy. It is !@#$ when they put your heal on a bolster and jump up and push you knee down. Still have trouble getting up out of chair. GOOD LUCK may you fly rhrough.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine (I can say that because it's not me). Just think how much better you'll be when it's healed.
