Flat black spray paint will cover it if you wish not to use chemicals to remove the overspray...

Laq thinner, carb cleaner spray, brake cleaner spray... mind you.. this is a tad rough on the rubber.

400 sand paper will scuff it off pretty well too.

Old is right.. many of us coat the tire with something.. like silicon rub, tire soap.. etc...

Stripper is hard on rubber, but if you have a lot of catalyzed paint on the tires you may have no other choice. I normally scrape off what I can, then use a medium-wet lacquer thinner rag to remove the rest.

Did you do this or did you buy it that way. I use vasoline on tires before I paint so that you can just wipe off the paint. Now if you didn't do that then you will need to use something like carb cleaner etc to get the paint off and the longer its there the harder it is to get off. BTDT and learned the hard way

Sand blaster or aircraft stripper both work perfect.

Is there a suitable black paint to paint over the overspray. I have a bad case of red paint on tires on a tractor I bought. Nothing I've tried yet has worked very well.
