Hey guys. I need to fix the small dump bed on my AMT 600 old style JD Gator. Its pretty rusty but mostly surface rust. I was interested in a spray on or brush on bedliner (from pepboys, sams, etc). What do you think and has anyone used this before?
Thanks, Stacey

I have Herculiner in my pickup and its okay. The biggest problem is that I didn't put on the second coat soon enough. By the time I got around to trying it it was too cold out. So I left it for the winter and by the time I got back to it the stuff had dried up.
Realisticly Herculiner is just black paint with rubber chips embedded so I just paint over it with black paint to freshen it up.
Don't use Herculiner if you want something thats a bit slippery, this stuff has bite, nothing slides in the bed of my truck!

some auto parts/paint stores carry a two part spray on liner. it is much better than the herculiner. You simply spray it on with a cheap undercoat gun ($20). One brand is called Gator guard. Costs more but is worth it. This product is more like the professional jobs
