The building where the Corbitt equipment was built is still standing. The local library has some information and pictures.

I have a lead on a Corbitt tractor that I am checking out. What do you know about them? Do you have pictures of yours?

Hi Jackie,

Do a search of this entire site on "corbitt". There are a few posts about them...no color info though. Looks like there were only 100 built. Right in Tugboat's back yard :o).

All I know is that Corbitt trucks were built here in Henderson NC where I live. The Henderson library has info on those. I could look for colors for you but there may be info on trucks only not tractors.

Tugboat,I certainly appreciate the offer and may take you up on that later. The boys aren't quite ready for paint but they have been trying to get info.book for two months now. Before you go to any trouble I'll try the antique tractor newsgroup.I didn't care for some of the garbage I read there so I haven't asked them yet. Many thanks to all.
