Here at work the guys in the paint shop use a Binks model 7 to spray red oxide primer. The gun is old and completely wore out. They have alot of rebuild kits for it, but they no longer help. Is the model 95 comparable to the model 7 and would the rebuild kits be the same?---Thanks

If you can, move up to a newer gravity feed gun. It gives you the ability to use 100 percent of the material and waste less. A siphon feed gun you alway leave a little material in the bottom that is wasted. Good gravity guns can have less overspray too and help reduce waste even further.

That is the way I spray the red oxide except I don't use the binks 7. I have one I just don't spray primer in it. You can get basically the same gun at the import stores for $25 to $40. They are a copy of the binks 7 except for a few differances , mainly in the handle design because of copyrights. I am not sure if a binks 7 rebuild kit will fit or not, never tried. When they wear out I just buy another one. Never really cleaned them just run a little thinner through ever once in a while. The one I am using now has been going for about 3 years. Mike
