I've been using a syphon feed gun and single stage Omni for a while now with pretty good results, but now I'm restoring an L-110 International pickup and I want the most uniform coverage possible. Can I buy a new HVLP gun and still use my 25 gallon 7hp compressor? Northen sells a Wagner conversion gun. What do I need to 'convert'. Many thanks.

I've seen that Wagner gun and I think I would buy a true HVLP gun rather than a conventional that has been converted. You can buy a good HVLP gun for $150. You will need to know the air ratings on your compressor to know if it will work.
