Painted my cultivator with implement paint about a month ago and now I want to put one more coat on. The cultivator has got some dust on it now from just sitting around in the shop. What would be safe to clean it with, dry cloth, damp cloth,or solvent and cloth, mineral spirits or just give it a dusting? thanks

I'd think twice about using compressed air
unless your shop floor is completely dust
free...or you could wet it first. CalJim

Blow it off with high pressure air first and then wipe with damp cloth. Don't need solvents or want them around fresh paint. If you have sprayed WD-40 or other contaminants in the shop since painting then use a quallity wax and grease remover. (ask auto paint store)
