I am getting ready to redo my Farmall 450D and was wondering is there any easy way to remove the emblems on the side steel? They are pushed through a bracket on the back side and can't seem to figure out hoe to remove without breaking them off. Thanks, Frank

i'm pretty sure the 450 has a chrome emblem. the back of the emblem probably has a metal post that extends thru the hood. they are usually held in place with a barrel nut. it is basically a sleeve that slides in the hole and has little prongs that hold it in. it is designed to slip the barrel nut in the hole and then push the emblem on. from the back side, tap on the posts to slip the emblem out. you may need to slide a putty knife under the emblem to help pry it out. go slow, bring them out evenly so you dont break the emblem. a little wd 40 will help too
