I am spraying some U-Tech 3.8 Polyurathane. Its a 2 part paint. I sprayed all the small parts at work in the booth, but now I need to do the base tractor. I called the tech line and the minimum temp for painting they would recommend is 60 degrees. What temperatures have you guys sprayed at?Thanks

Hi Mike, I paint a few tractors every winter in my garage. I have a torpedo heater and pretty much heat the tractor up till its hot to touch. No runs yet , and they turn out decent. Dave

The lower the temperature the higher the risk of getting runs in your paint. Recoat timing is harder to calculate also. If you want do do a good error free job with no headaches, 60 degrees is the minimum temperature I would spray at.
