How do you get a creased fender straight again?
this masssty 97 im looking at had the roof of the building it was sitting in fall in on it,
It creased the right fender in the middle and kind of pushed it down on either side,
Im wanting to get this thing,
But if it,s gonna be a pain to deal with,
Ill go to something else like a Case 970 no cab and be done with it!

I had the a crease on my fender of my massey. I work in the autobody field, so I knew what to do. I used a hammer and dolly set. Got it back to almost perfect, the I used the grinder to smooth it down, I then put body filler on it and sanded it down. It turned out really good. When you prime it, I recommend you block sand it. I will show the high and low spots. It will make your paint job that much better.

Remove fender, lay it flat and stomp on it.

Rub it out with a block. For 'perfect' you will need a few specialty body hammers and form blocks.. Some dents / creases require more substantial manipulation like dent pullers.. etc.

Usually a skim coat of your prefered putty or glaze finishes it off after hours of sanding / fileing or grinding.

Old days might have 'leaded it.. that's pretty much a lost art now.
