I'm looking at a couple of my farm magizines from 1954 & 1957. The Super H appears to be more silver (or Galvanized)and a 450 illustrated has a grey rim. I think all the number series I've seen people are using silver. Does any one have a paint number for the 350/450's ?

I've used both the Case IH aluminum and silver and I think the silver is a better color match plus it seems to be alot more durable. What I've been doing on the last few tractor I've painted is to use the silver paint with very little reducer and alot of hardner which seems to make it a little easier to spray.

There is no paint code, they were galvanized. I use PPG 8568, but that is only my opinion. Farmall forum will give other opinions. Your choice.

I have been to two different IH dealers and got Two answers, I'm using IH brand Iron Gard paint, one said that that Silver/Argent B17565 was the color for the the older ones, and the 1111B Aluminum 990506R1 was for the newer Magums, and the other dealer said just the other, just want to get it right
