Hello I come from the JD board I am restoring a old chevy truck and plan to strip the paint then use Phos.acid wash to kill the rust. What primer should I use, what paint I am no body man or painter. I have Hvlp and old style spray guns. Was thinking about using acrlic enamel on the truck(1950) thanks

Use an epoxy primer mixed according to the instructions. E-prime covers faster and better than laquer primers, as well as drying in minutes as compared to hours or days for laquer primers.

Acrylic enamel will be fine. Just be sure to use a quality product, correct reducer and be sure to use hardener.
