Anybody know if I can clear coat the TSC paint. I painter my 2N with it and would like to clear coat the hood and fenders.

Tim

Many on this forum have said TSC paint is just fine the way it is and to clear it will just make it look "unatural" for a tractor. Most say anything more expensive is just overkill and wasted money. Can we assume you have proved them wrong? Why do you want to clear it? I havn't heard of an alkyd enamel clear coat , which is what your color is. Any clear worthy of using will have a catylist (isocyanates) and will be of a different chemistry than your color and may "eat" your color and make a mess. If it is more shine that you are after then you might consider buffing out what you have now and forget the clear. Or sand it down and re-paint it using a different technique to get the stuff to shine.
