Where do you get Dupont paint from , and what other single stage paints are out there that are of somewhat quality and not expensive can be sprayed on and not cleared.

I use Utech from Akzo Nobel(Sikkens and Leosnal) I use their 200 urethane single stage when cost and ease is my deciding factor and 3.5 polyurethane when I what the best gloss, fade resistance and coverage. This is the paint Pierce Fire trucks are painted with and International paints all their trucks with at the factory to list a few.

I have used the Dupont Nason paint as a single stage paint over epoxy primer and have been very happy with the results. It is not as cheap as paint you get at tractor supply but its not the most expensive. Its well worth it - don't use the cheap paint since the preparation is the hardest part and you don't want to have to do that over again a few years down the road.

I used to use Dupont Centari. Got very expensive, so I tried BASF LIMCO, very happy with the paint!

DuPont Nason, PPG Omni, can be had in single stage paints, Sherwin Williams/Martin Senour/NAPA will also have economy lines. You should have a dealer for one of those close by. Also depends on what you call expensive -- the ones I have listed will be over $100/gallon, unless you use acrylic enamel with no hardener, then probably about $80 or more. It's easy to exceed $300/gallon.
