Just a follow up question on my previous question concerning MP 182. In areas not to be seen or hard to get to, Does it need to be sanded to achieve the mechanical adhesion? Probably a dumb question, but using this product is new to me. Thanks in advance

Preferably yes , but it isn't like the paint's just gonna fall off if not sanded. It just won't have the adhesion that a sanded surface will. That being said , if it is on hard to get at or seldom seen places then it probably won't need the degree of adhesion that a surface out in the open that will get rubbed or touched will need. Scotchbrite what you can and don't sweat it.

Thanks B, had to go into town today so I stopped by and talked to the paint man. He said pretty much the same thing. Having never used it before I wasn't sure. I'm doing the sheet metal so it's the non-exposed inside areas I was wondering about. I've got about two years and probably too much money invested in the tractor, not to mention I'm trying to do it right. One thing I've learned from it is to be patient. My appreciation to you, Rod, CNKS and others who share your wealth of knowledge.
