Before you go to the fall parade, how do you get the mud and clay stains off your tires? I've tried the power washer with detergent and a wire brush. They still look grungy. I've seen some guys tractors look like they have new tires but they're not.

ME Miller black tire paint is the best thing I have used. A quart will go a long way since you mix it with water. I put it on with an old brush, and the tires look new.

Try a product called Tire Bleach made by Wesleys, spray it on, scrub tire with a stiff bristled brush, rinse off, repeat if necessary. It cleans the dirtiest tires very well with minimal effort and the tires appear like new without the greasy wet look of other tire dressings. Most parts stores sell it as does Sams Club.

If you have pressure washed the tires and they are still stained use a rag soaked with laquer thinner. I have found this to bring the black out before using the tire foam. After that, the foam keeps the tires from getting as much stain. Just my experience.

Driving around in the snow cleans them very well too.

I agree 100% with glenster. Armorall Tire Foam. It gives them a "naturally new" look and not that wet plastic look like a lot of other products.

i use armour all tire foam. comes in a spray can, you spray it on, and leave it. the dirt flows off and it leaves a nice shine. any similiar type product will work the same. if the tires are really bad, scrub them first with castrol super clean and a stiff bristle brush, rinse well with water then spray on the tire cleaner.
it even cleans up the tires on the hay rack

I also use Tire Foam. HOWEVER.... Be extremely careful if you are going to be putting the tractor on a trailer. The stuff can make the tires slippery. I figured it would be OK if I put the tire foam on a couple weeks before. Turned out I was wrong. I load two narrow front tractors on my trailer, backing one on and offsetting it from the other that I drive on. The tractor that gets backed on has one rear tire near the edge of the trailer. With the tire foam when I went to stop, the tractor kept on sliding... It did not go over the edge, but got a lot closer than I ever want to get again.

I like the stuff enough to keep using it. But from now on, i'll put it on once a year after the show season to give it time dry up and wear off before I load. The tires won't be as black, but they will look nice and I'll be safer.
