Martin Senour paint is of the parent company Sherwin Williams, as is Rogers and Acme, just different label. I have used these products (and the other major brands) for the past 29 years and believe it to be top quality. As with anything, you get what you pay for and they offer all levels of quality. If I can stress only one thing SAFETY-use a QUALITY paint mask with charcoal filters. You can have several tractors but only one set of lungs. Just my two cents worth!

I just bought a gallon of Martin Senour Flambeau Red from NAPA. It was only 68.00 a gallon compared to 137.00 a gallon quoted elsewhere. As you may or may not know, Flambeau Red is mostly orange in color. The paint guy told me I was lucky... if it had ACTUALLY contained red pigment, it would be more like 300.00 a gallon.

I'm not a professional painter, but it seemed like good paint to me. I don't have the equipment/ know how to mix in hardeners, etc. so I just had to spray it on straight (with thinner, of course) using my world-class paint booth (the table on my back porch!)

We'll see how it holds up in the sun. I can mail you a photo if you're interested in seeing some for yourself.

68 is not a bad price for what you got. Check out my site for really honest deals on high quality. My family business. There's no pricing on the site yet. We're working on it. It's only up for a week. Request literature there and you'll get a 6 page price list along with a catalog and a color chart with 100 chips. I hope nobody is bothered by my posts. I'm having fun and getting faster at typing by the minute.
