I put a straight pipe on my lawnmower, and it sounds cool but is plain ugly. Wont oil or latex paint burn off? Any suggestions?

People who prefer straight pipes on their lawnmowers should enjoy the "cool" sound as much as they can because it won't be long before they won't be enjoying ANY sound.

That or you can get some paint for BBQ grills. It will stand up to high temps. I painted the muffler on my 40 B when I restored it in 2003 and it still looks good.... But then again a hard days work for it is going from the shop, around the pasture field and back to the shop. =)

Yep.. mine makes 2 parades.. and i also don't like rain getting on the wax job either... Other than that it sets inside a fully enclosed garage away from mean things like dirt, sun and weather.. etc... ;)

GO to Wally world or your local hardware and get a can of that high temp paint, I think its rustoleum. Comes in several different colors.
