we are painting a honda del sol house of color candy fushia today. should be about 10 coats of different materials. thought i'd post for everybody to see whats involved. here is the sealer coat on now, next will be a base coat of white. this is dp 25 sealer

What part of the country are you from? I have used PPG products for years, but am not familiar with DP 25. The white epoxy we use is DP 48 LF. I like the color. Which HOK candy is that?

Graphics can take some time that is for sure. When you get that done it will be a cute little thing. Is the accents chrome or black. I guess I can wait and see when you post the completed job.

here is the last coat of color, #6. 9 quarts of paint so far, whew at 76.00 dollars a quart, this is gonna hurt the wallet!!

The heck with the car!!!! I want that paint booth Glennster is using...I love it. It is even bigger it looks, than the one I use at work..

tom that is a bananza downdraft booth. 1.5 million btu main stack for the bake cycle. we can bake at 160 degrees. spray cycle we generally run at 80-85 degrees. it will bake an automotive finish in 30 minutes, with cooldown, an hour and a half and its done and ready to buff. the natural gas bill is a killer on this one tho.
