I recently purchased an unrestored 1948 BF Avery tractor. Am having difficulty in finding the true paint codes, and maker (Glidden, Sherwin etc) as I would like to restore this honey to its original glory. Any assistance would be appreciated. Additionally, if anyone has information on BF Avery Club please share their web site address. Thanks so much.

B. F. Avery red Dupont Dulux 4737, or 97902 UAD. Martin Senour red 1637 is used on Avery tractors before the company was purchased by Minneapolis Moline.
I buy my paint from local auto parts supply stores. They can match this to diifferent paint charts/brands.
