Any tips on how to paint outside would be helpful. I have done it before but would appreciate anybody with helpful advice. Also what is the best way to mask the rear wheels?

Do it on a day when the outside temperature is within the range of your reducer. And do it on an absolutely calm day and in the shade. Also be careful of the source of your shade. A tree that is dropping sap, leaves, bugs, or limbs can make a real mess. Have fun.

If you wait for a day when there is no wind blowing dirt , a day when there are no insects or dandelion seeds or cottonwood or poplar seeds flying , a day without threat of rain and no direct hot sun light then you will wait a long time . I have never seen that particular day. Also , unless you are going to pull it inside when the dew of evening settles , you can start the task of re-doing it all over the next day. Get some pvc or conduit hoops and some green-house plastic and build a cheap temp. outdoor booth. It will be well worth the small cash outlay.

You missed painting inside in the summer late in the evening. You look over your work and say wow this turned out great. Turn out the lights and go to bed. You go out in the morning and, where did all those little black bugs come from. Or the fly/wasp that got stuck and made tracks an inch long thru to the primer. (:^D

Yep, ya got to paint well before "bug time"! That way, any bugs that decide to alight on the new paint, won't get their leetle feet stuck! ( If ya have to explain that to somebody---well-----! Take yer vehicle out in the middle of a field, after a rain, and no trees over head, no wind, no visible dry dirt, and ya might not get any dust in yer paint. For paointing flat horizontal surfaces, ya should be under a roof, as anything floating in the air will surely find its way into yer paint!
