How to remove overspray?

I was painting a white truck toolbox and forgot to move the wife's black car upwind. Bet you can guess what happened next. What's the best way to remove the tiny white specks of overspray from the car?

A lot will rub off if I rub hard with a cloth, probably because the car was fairly dusty before the overspray. But I would like to get it all off, with a chemical of sorts I presume.

Thanks,

Travis

If it's her birthday Friday does that mean I can kill two birds with one stone on the supper thing? :D

Best way to get any over spray off is meguiars auto claying kit!!

try washing with soap and water and rinse well. let dry or towel dry and use a mild POLISHING compound on the area that still have specks. then go over the whole car with a good wax. it's really best to move anything that would be in the way of paint overspray first, but we all make mistakes. after you finish cleaning the wife's car, take her out to dinner. sort of payback for a little mistake.

i wouldnt try and use any chemicals to remove the overspray. best bet is to use a buffer and some mild compound, follow up with a swirl mark remover. there is a clay product out also that you can use. stop at any autobody supply store and ask them for it.
