Glennster

I noticed a can of Zero Rust paint in the photo you posted about paint can caps. I was curious about your experience and use of it. I began using it this winter for as a brush painting primer for small parts, during those long winter months when it was too cold to spray the usual Omni epoxy primer/2K urethane routine. I began using it by itself on "inside" components, (like brackets and such), but then I began also using it on small cast parts, (wheel hubs, water pump, etc) components, top coating the Zero Rust with IH enamel. Haven't gotten things together yet, but I'd appreciate your thoughts.

I have been using Zero Rust for about 10 years now. It is great paint. Back when I first discovered it, I applied some on the bottom of a 1/4 hinged steel plate that covers our shallow well. The only preparation for the paint was to wipe it down with laqcuer thinner. We check the well level now and then and the paint is still on the bottom of the plate. 10 years and constant 100% humidity tells me that they are doing something right down at Zero Rust.

we are currently re-doin a 65 corvette. i used that on the frame rails, rad supt brackets, control arms, ect. unlike por 15, this has a semi gloss finish and doesnt flatten like por 15 in the sun. it gives a factory type finish to the undercarriage, and its also tough as nails as por 15. its a good product!
