Randy,
Take your time and make sure that you stay organized with your product. As B and Glennster said put an emphasis on patterning your gun on something other than the tractor.

I just bought a supplied air hood and compresser just like the one you have pictured. I like it But the tube [ from the quick disconnect to the hood] whistles real loud.It changes tone as you move by the bend of the tube.drives you nuts! I had to put in ear plugs. The tube must be courigated in the inside . I am going to look into replacing the tube. Thanks jd530

Well just a dry test run putting it on looks to be a pain to adjust. There is a Velcro top strap to limit how far your head goes into the hood, and a Velcro strap like a cap adjustment, then an elastic chin strap. Trouble is you cant reach in with your hands to easy to make the adjustments, so it is trial an error.

Once you get everything adjusted it seems to fit pretty good, nice air flow even on a low setting with 75 foot of hose.

Randy

Thanks Randy;

I know what you mean about adjusting. I have a hood I use for sandblasting and it is a real pain. It will not stay in one place, so you have to continually adjust it as you work. Take some pics as you paint your tractor. We'd like to see your progress.
