Paint/Clearcoat question

When I sprayed my tractor, I sprayed it in my make shift booth. I sprayed 6 coats of base and 6 coats of clear. When I sprayed the final coat of clear I have overspray of the clear on some parts that looks like a hazing or frosting. I know this is probably from poor ventilation. The question I have is can I compound the dull out to make it look even? Thanks,

You might be able to sand it and buff it back! My question is: Why 6 coats of clear? I have painted cars professionally for 10 years now and we usally only use 2 coats and that is way more than they put on the at the factory

I don't know. I had plenty and while I was spraying. Ha ha. It was getting good to me I guess. I forgot to mention it looked awesome as soon as I painted it and then I moved on to other hanging parts and I guess the overspray was too much. What kind off compound do you guys recommend?

Maybe you can wet sand it with fine grit paper. If it don't look right after sanding hit it with another coat of clear.

So who really painted this tractor??? JDH or Oliver77guy??? You have GOT to get the fog out when useing a quick flashing clear coat. You will just have to experiment as to whether to hand rub/sand and buff etc. Hard to machine buff smaller parts. In the future , try clearing fewer parts at a sitting so you don't get the fog. Tractors aren't production work. You have nothing BUT time. Slower IS faster!
