Paint question on JP Series Expoxy

I went to the paint store and told them I didn"t want to use hardner in primer or paint. They suggested JP Series Primer JP375 Epoxy. (PPG) I said ok. Got home and realized they gave me a can of catalyst (hardner) to go with the primer. I read the sheet and it said two to one ratio. My question is do you have to use the Hardener or can I just use it without harder and use reducer. Or do I need to use reducer. If I do,how much reducer do I need. I would like to use it just by itself. Or do I need to go back. If so, what should I ask for in the way of primer and paint with NO hardener needed.

Confused.

Thanks,

LBH
