Sprayer cleaning

What solvent do most people use to clean their sprayers with?
Anyone have any tips on reducing cleanup time?

Randy

use laquer thinner or M.E.K. these solvents are hot and will cut epoxys.D'ont use gas.Gas is oil based may leave a unwanted residue in the gun. Then you might Fish eyes.

Interesting that you avoid gas. Have always used gas for a final wipe down before spraying ( old body shop trick I saw in the fifties ). and continue to do so today even with the many changes, and have never had any fisheye problems. Gun cleaning..... ... Two clean outs with the paint solvent then a final with lacquer thinners. Still shooting with the same 25 yr old Chinese gun and still as good as new.
