I AM RESTORING A FARMALL (A), THE HOOD IS RUSTED UP PRETTY BAD,ALSO PITTED, I HAVE BEEN USING BONDO OR GLAZING PUTTY TO FIX OTHER SHEET METAL,HOWEVER THE HOOD SEEMS PRETTY FLEXIBAL AND IM CONCERNED THAT THESE FILLERS WILL CRACK, SHOULD I TRY IT / OR BITE THE BULLET AND BUY A NEW HOOD ??

I saw in the last Red Power that Mark Wood is now selling the repro. hoods for 100 bucks. You may consider that an option.

If you take some time, maybe a lot of time to lightly hammer out most of the dent, the shallow depth required for bondo will be acceptable. Work gently from the outside to inside of the dent.

You should have seen this hood before I started. They can be brought back with a little patience.
