This question is probably raised before but I'm new to this and would like to know were one can obtain the paint for a (1946) CASE VA. Apparently it was called "Flambeau red" but looks more orange then red especially when the years go on. I live in Calgary, Alberta. Could anyone advise me were I could purchase this?
thanks in advance....

Case-IH sells Power red which is the replacement for Flambeau red.

NAPA can mix Flambeau Red that is where I got mine. Avoid the cheap paint unless you like the chalky look.
Good Luck.

Hi Josh,

My PPG listing shows two different Flambeau reds for Case: PPG #70138 and PPG #71282. See link referenced in link below. Either should be available in PPG's OMNI line of automotive enamels and urethanes. Try suppliers of paint to autobody shops in your area to see who carries the PPG line. You may or may not be able to find color chips to check out the difference between the two. I had a similar problem with my AC in persian orange...there were two different ones and I wound up buying a qt of each to verify the right one before buying more.

If you go the PPG OMNI route, you can obtain application information here:
